League sponsors since the 2019-20 season RWML provide vital backing that allows the League to function. The money provided helps pay for trophies, match balls, Referee costs and pitch fees for the Leagues Cup Finals which are the pinnacle of the League season.
Ribble Wealth Management Limited was established in 2015, and whilst a relatively young company, the Directors (Steve Crowe and Dave Rae) each have relevant financial services qualifications (maintaining their knowledge by Continuing Professional Development (“CPD”)) and over twenty-five years’ experience, whilst also holding Statements of Professional Standing which confirm that they adhere to a strict Code of Ethical Standards. They offer and provide practical financial planning advice to individuals, families and businesses, mainly in the North West of England but with clients throughout the UK as a result of relocations and recommendations.
Advice is available across the whole financial planning spectrum, including (but not limited to) investments, pensions, equity release, life insurance, income protection, inter-generational wealth planning, tax planning and estate planning.

Meet The Committee
Peter Shaw, President
Peter took on the role of President in 2014 but is better known for his sponsorship of the Leagues' most prestigious cup competition The Peter Shaw Trophy. Peter has long been associated with the League and has been a Life Member since 1991.
Philip Caine, Chairman
Phil has held the role of Chairman since 2014 but has been involved with the League for many years in his role of Manager and before that as a Player. Phil was presented was made an Honorary Life Member in 2018
Steve Crowe, Treasurer
Steve joined the committee in 2018 and has injected an element of professionalism to the League's finances. Steve is also a Company Director at League sponsors Ribble Wealth Management.
League Secretary - Chris Hogan
Chris started as a Player/Manager with The Redskins and joined the committee as Fixtures Secretary in 1994. He has also held the role of Treasurer and was presented with honour of Life Member in 2018.
Fixtures, Results & Registrations Secretary - Mark Mercer
Mark has been on the League committee since joining as Results & Registrations Secretary in 2004 and has also been in charge of fixtures since 2007. Mark was made an Honorary Life Member in 2018 for his service to the League.
Referee Appointments Secretary - Noel McEvoy
Noel has been in charge of Referee recruitment and appointments since 1994. He is also an active Referee in the League and is also Secretary of the Nelson & Colne Referees Society. Noel was presented with the League's highest honour of Life Member in 2018.
